This Torah pointer is embellished with a narrow
band of lotus flowers in the middle of the shaft and a wide band of alternating
beaded and rectagular panels. A band of palmettes adjoins the hand of the
pointer, which simulates a fist, with knuckles and nails articulated in
the ivory.
